How we started

Travel Link co-ordinators "the Holiday coordinators" is the brainchild of founder and Managing Director,

Nigel Simpson. Nigel had spent 30 years of travelling (Starting at a very young age!) that's the reason

he started this company - to "get away" from the package!

As Managing Director of one of the UK's first Internet travel companies. In starting Travel link co-ordinators,

totally alone, Nigel was the first we know to introduce Travel Linking - much later to be called

"Dynamic packaging" by the Times newspaper

From the idea stage in1999 with its first bookings taken in early 2003, travel link co-ordinators has rapidly

established itself as a significant company in the UK travel industry.

Even in such a short period of time TLC has already arranged travel link coordination for a diverse

clientele with experiences from a last minute week end, snow boarding in Canada to a full event caribbean wedding!

Over the last few years, the rapid rise in internet based travel companies has given customers limitless access

to travel information. However many of the internet's largest players, in their attempts to automate the customer

experience, have lost that personal touch. Indeed some of the largest internet travel companies don't even have

a contact phone number on their site. Or they "pretend" to be smaller companies to offer real personal service but

in fact steer their customers to their own products...
