BMI is in an innovative move. LHR’s second largest operator in terms of slots has introduced

an in-flight Heathrow Express ticket purchase facility on all mainline domestic and European routes.

The single tickets have a three-day availability and one month for the return. The airline has also

launched an online check-in service and is introducing self-check-in stations at airports.

BMI has also introduced what it calls “web points” at Edinburgh, Glasgow and Heathrow, and in the
