Special attention for wheelchair users

Camping for disabled people

More and more campsites are paying attention to the requirements

of wheelchair users.

For a campsite for disabled suitability, at least the sanitary building, the restaurant

and the swimming pool have to be accessible for wheelchairs.

Please bear in mind that mobile homes are rarely suitable for wheelchair users

due to the high steps at the entrance. Being on ground level, tents are suitable.

are measured from Calais.

Arrival and departure times

Usually you can arrive at the campsites any time between 16.00 and 19.00

and will be expected to leave between 8.00 and 10.00 on the morning of your

departure. Any exceptions to this will be noted on your holiday voucher.

FERRY CROSSINGS (Click HERE)

Please ensure that your chosen Channel crossing will mean you can have

a relaxing drive & get you to the campsite in good time as there may not be reception

staff available outside of the above hours. The same goes for your return crossing

as you will have to have your accommodation checked before leaving the campsite

in order to have your security deposit returned. In case of unexpected delays,

there will be a contact telephone number on your accommodation voucher.

In Mediterranean countries it is a custom to have a siesta between 13.00 and 15.00.

During siesta time certain facilities may have limited opening hours.

For the benefit of existing guests, the barrier at the entrance of the campsite

may sometimes be closed too.
